Exam countdown
How long until the next big assessment window. When an official date has been published we count down to it; before that, we show the usual pattern with a link to the body that sets the dates — an approximate answer beats a wrong one.
NAPLAN
Usually ≈ two weeks in mid-March — exact dates are published by nap.edu.au.
ICAS
Usually ≈ August, each subject on its own week — exact dates are published by icasassessments.com.
Australian Mathematics Competition
Usually ≈ late July to early August — exact dates are published by amt.edu.au.
Schools confirm the exact sitting day inside each window, so the school newsletter beats every countdown — including this one.
While you wait
The weeks before a window are when practice is worth the most. NAPLAN practice · ICAS practice · AMC practice · Which paper is my child's year? · What does a NAPLAN result mean?
Practise free, no account needed. Every paper is marked the moment your child finishes, with a worked solution on every question.
